Mercury Store

The Mercury Store is a creative space for theatre artists, stage directors, and choreographers to rent studio space. The warehouse is located in Gowanus, Brooklyn, and was once a metal foundry. We were tasked with creating a signage program for the building.

The signage design takes inspiration from the letter configurations of the brand, and the signage materiality is a nod to the darker finishes of the architecture. The signage program includes interior and exterior signage, including room identification signs, studio message boards, exterior painted letters, and a re-purposed fire door turned message board.
